Quick tip to spice up your e book headings

Want to have fancy headings in your ebook?

Sometimes the standard options for your ebook headings just don't suit the look and feel you're trying to achieve. So here's a quick tip to get them looking how you want.

Use Word Art or images in place of headings

Doing this means your TOC won't function correctly. Or so you would think. But try this.....

Go to the headline you want to modify. Change the size of your H1, H2 or H3 heading to the smallest size possible, and change the color to match your background (probably white).

Directly below this now invisible headline, place your image or Word Art.

Now update your TOC and save the changes.

That's it, all done! When you click on the TOC link, it will take you to the invisible headline, and appear as though you linked directly to the image. Have fun with this!
